Together with De Mobiele Fabriek and Schenk Concrete Consultancy, Decistor is involved in research about the recovery of cement from debris, an attempt to save a relevant amount of CO₂ deriving from the chemical processes during the production of clinker.

The first application of the research is in the processes of De Mobiele fabriek, using the unhydrated cement to produce building materials at lower cost or higher quality.
